I'm a commercial photographer living in Mesa, Arizona. I'm married and have four children, ranging in age from 12 to 24. I photograph primarily on film, in all formats, and am moving slowly into the
digital world. Digital cameras are great tools for certain applications, but are sorely lacking in the quality I can achieve with my large format camera and professional film. In photographing
Temples I strive to present them as art. I spend many hours (and sometimes days) scouting compositions and waiting for the right combination of light and weather. In addition to Temples, I photograph
the natural world, mainly deserts and wilderness canyons. Arizona is blessed with more canyons than I could ever explore in a lifetime (let's not even mention Utah's canyons). When I'm not exploring
I enjoy cycling, flat-water kayaking, and spending time with my family. All images copyright Richard K. Webb
